Our client is an important European private equity investment company with offices based in Luxembourg.
As the activities are still growing, they are looking for a new member to join the accounting team.
Description
As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will be:
Perform accounting tasks from A to Z for all the companies of the group (especially holdings):
- Process entries and bookkeeping ;
- Update of accounts receivable and payable ;
- Issue invoices and management of payments ;
- Perform reconciliations ;
- Prepare payment instructions ;
- Participate to the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements, etc. ;
- Participate to the preparation of local tax returns.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Attend board meetings of the companies
Assist and support direct manager for all accounting related statutory reports preparation and filling (BCL reporting, eCDF, etc.)
Participate to ad hoc analysis and projects.
Profile
At least a Bachelor degree in accounting
At least 2 years prior work experience as accountant/auditor/consultant, ideally in a Big 4 Audit firm or in a major fiduciary with a portfolio of clients Holdings/ Private Equity
Fluent in French and English
Knowledge of VAT is an asset
Knowledge of BOB software is ideal
Proactive, organized and motivated, willing to learn more and grow with the company
